WLPS Gurdaspur has been established with the single minded preservice of carrying forward the legacy of its organization that is Wonderland Public School society. WLPS was established in 1949 and is known for its experience in education for more than 62 years.
Gurdaspur is spread over 1-acres and is unique in its architectural excellence. The sprawling lawns, the airy and bright classrooms offer an ambience which is conductive to intellectual pursuits and holistic development, Discovering and nurturing talent for each student and supporting our students to build confidence and skills is central to our educational philosophy.

Dear Parents,
Introducing Wonderland Public School to the township of Gurdaspur has been a personal dream for many years. Finally after a great deal of struggle. I take pride in introducing quality education to the district.
Pre-Partition Gurdaspur was the largest and perhaps the most important district of Punjab, being fertile and close to Lahore. Post partition we have seen a systematic dismembering of its area, reducing it to perhaps the smallest and definitely the most neglected district of Punjab. On paper, the literacy rate is impressive but a survey exposes neglect and casualness in all fields of education and character development. There are little or no opportunities for the youth. Drug abuse and peddling are rampant.
Quality education is the hallmark of development and everything else will follow.

At WLPS Gurdaspur leaning is not confined to classroom instruction. Many of the most important lessons are those which students learn as part of team games, exchanging of ideas, inter-house competition, celebrations and collaborative learning.
With the WLPS legacy of excellence there is constant enhancement of teaching skills of the staff. Moreover various in-house and outsource workshop options our teacher’s competency to cater to the different needs of learners. The student-teacher ratio ensures individual attention to the students thus nurturing each student’s holistic growth and development.
